Vendor needs to provide engineering services for street project to the government authority located in Lansing, MI. – The Consultant will be responsible for the sidewalk ramp and landing designs to be coordinated with the pedestrian push button upgrades.– The chosen consultant will provide the following services:• Perform additional investigation and design services as required for the project.• Secure, review and evaluate updated sewer videotapes to confirm if any additional repairs are needed. Refer to Appendix B of this document for locations, sizes and lengths of the needed videotaping.• Determine traffic control, construction staging, the associated maintaining traffic special provision and plans, including associated work zone safety and mobility analysis. • Prepare necessary permits. If required, the City will pay the fees for the permits to the reviewing agency.• Utility coordination.• Pavement marking plans.• Evaluate and design, if applicable, the opportunity to add curbed center left turn median islands.• Prepare construction cost estimates for the project that will include quantity splits for eligible and ineligible items.• Attend and provide display material for Public Meetings. The display material is anticipated to consist of aerial maps plotted full size and potentially mounted on boards that depicts the project.
