Request for Quotations UKRAINE Project: Ukraine Improving Higher Education for Results Project” (UIHERP) Loan No.: 9238-UA Name of the Procurement: Procurement of Laboratory Furniture for the S. Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology Lviv Procurement No.: MOES-UIHERP-C2-MERGERS-72 1. Ukraine received the Loan No. 9238-UA from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in US dollars to finance the Ukraine Improving Higher Education for Results Project and intends to use part of the funds to make payments under the Contract No. MOES-UIHERP-C2-MERGERS-72 “Procurement of Laboratory Furniture for the S. Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology Lviv”. 2. The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine invites eligible participants to submit proposals for the supply of the laboratory furniture, including the following: laboratory furniture sets of various types; laboratory tables, island laboratory tables, and computer desks; sink tables, laboratory glassware drying racks, and auxiliary furniture elements; cabinets for laboratory glassware, reagents, clothing, and wall-mounted cabinets; laboratory fume hoods, including a large laboratory fume hood; laboratory chairs for laboratories and practical classes. More detailed information is provided in the Technical Specification. The expected duration of the supply of goods is 120 (one hundred twenty) days from the date of signing the contract. 3. The procurement comprises three lots: MOES-UIHERP-C2-MERGERS-72/L1 “Procurement of Laboratory Furniture for the S. Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology Lviv”; MOES-UIHERP-C2-MERGERS-72/L2 “Procurement of Fume Hoods for the S. Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology Lviv”; MOES-UIHERP-C2-MERGERS-72/L3 “Procurement of Laboratory Chairs for the S. Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology Lviv”. 4. The World Bank requires compliance with the Bank’s Anti-Corruption Guidelines and its applicable sanctions policies and procedures, as outlined in the World Bank Group Sanctions Framework. In further compliance with this policy, Bidders shall permit and require their agents (whether declared or not), subcontractors, sub-consultants, service providers, suppliers and personnel to permit the Bank to inspect all invoices, records and other documents relating to the request for quotations and execution of the contract (in case of award), as well as for their verification by auditors appointed by the Bank. 5. The participant provides at least the following additional documents as part of the offer: Manufacturer’s authorization for the offered equipment (if applicable); Information on the local authorized service department/company. More detailed information is given in the Request for Quotations. 6. This is a national bidding procedure, and bids shall be submitted through any registered Prozorro platform.
