(1) Vendor needs to provide medical bill review and payment services for the city’s self–insured, self–administered workers’ compensation program.– Medical bill review provider (the Consultant) to which healthcare providers will submit invoices for bill review and payment to providers after network discounts are applied.– medical bill handling, bill review, and payment of providers (including whether you pay directly or require a separate contract with a bill payment service), including the denial process of any medical bills.– Networks & processes are in place for the use of preferred physician networks, pharmacy networks and durable medical equipment networks.– Communicate with our Workers’ Compensation Claims Analyst and management regarding both daily administerial issues and more urgent matters(2) All question must be submitted no later than September 21, 2026.
