GIS-1960 - USA (Aspen, Colorado) - Geohazard, Fluvial Hazard and Floodplain Hazard Land Use Code and Mapping Services - Deadline August 4,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide geohazard, fluvial hazard and floodplain hazard land use code and mapping services to the government authority located in Aspen, CO.• Provide an inventory and a gap analysis of the land use code, application/permit requirements and standards, and mapping. Develop options for regulations framework and review process. Include guiding principals for the relationship between hazard mapping, site–specific hazard investigations, application requirements, mitigation measures, and regulatory decision making.• Provide clear language describing code intent that fosters understanding for how hazard maps, site–specific investigations in the land use application review process, mitigation measures, disclosures, and permit requirements are intended to function within the county’s review process.• Support staff in the land use code, land use application manual, and mapping adoption process, which is a two–step process including a minimum of one meeting with the planning and zoning commission and two readings with the board of county commissioners.(2) All question must be submitted no later than July 09, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
