Debris Removal and Clearance Services from Stormwater Structures and Easements

The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than 'Proposal Submission Date at 'Proposal Submission Time (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Unsealed Request for Proposals (URFP) is to solicit proposals to furnish/provide debris removal and clearance services from Stormwater structures and easements. The City of Newport News seeks to establish one or more contracts for debris removal in support of the City’s Stormwater Division’s drainage easement and outfall maintenance program. This contract may also be utilized to respond to debris removal, disposal, and other debris clean-up activities associated with a hurricane, storm, tornado or other natural or manmade disaster on roadways, parks and public facilities, or as may be requested by the City. All work set forth in the Scope of Work must be approved by personnel authorized by the City (Stormwater Debris Manager or the Stormwater Debris Manager’s authorized representative). Other City of Newport News Divisions and agencies may utilize this contract.
