PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Sanitary Sewer Repair at 2165 Baker St in the City of Gary, IN. Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, superintendence, and all necessary incidentals for the repair of sanitary sewer pipe. Remove and replace existing 12-inch diameter pipe with 12-inch diameter PVC SDR 35 ± 199-linear feet from Manhole No. 3408 to Manhole No. 3407. In the paved street, the Contractor shall remove pavement by neatly saw cutting in straight lines to the full depth of the section, extending at least 12 inches beyond the trench, to form clean joints that ensure proper bonding during restoration. Replace with 8 inches of compacted No. 53 stone, 2 inches HMA Binder Course, and 1.5 inches HMA Surface Course with tack coat between lifts. Contractor must match existing surrounding grade.
