DRA-12096 - USA (California) - Engineering and Traffic Survey and Speed Limit Study Service - Deadline December 8,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide engineering and traffic survey and speed limit study service to the government authority located in California. – The selected Consultant shall provide all necessary professional services, personnel, equipment, field investigations, traffic data collection, engineering analysis, quality control, and deliverables required to complete the project. Additional services include traffic–volume and vehicle–classification data collection, Traffic Index (TI) calculations, Geographic Information System (GIS) documentation, and preparation of a comprehensive final report.– Recommend a posted speed limit for each study segment and document the engineering basis for retaining, increasing, or reducing the existing posted speed.– Document any departure from the measured 85th–percentile speed and identify the legal and engineering basis for the recommendation.– Collect and report two consecutive 24–hour directional traffic volumes and vehicle classification data for each study location.– Prepare and maintain a detailed project schedule. Submit an updated schedule at least monthly and before each field deployment.– Consultant shall collect two consecutive, complete 24–hour periods of directional traffic–volume and vehicle–classification data.– The Consultant shall collect statistically and operationally appropriate prevailing–speed data for each study segment using a method acceptable under the current professional traffic–engineering practice.– The Consultant shall implement a documented QA/QC program.– The Consultant shall prepare one comprehensive Citywide Engineering and Traffic Survey Report.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 17, 2026.
