Vendor needs to provide emergency communication system to the government authority located in Iowa.• Provide operating instructions incorporated with or adjacent to the emergency communication push button.• Confirm when authorized personnel have established communication.• Allow authorized personnel to communicate with and obtain responses from trapped passengers, including passengers who cannot hear or verbally communicate.• Indicate when help is on the way. This message shall remain displayed until replaced by another required message or until communication is terminated.• The system shall provide voice notification to authorized personnel at least 3 minutes after communication is established.• Authorized personnel shall have the ability to extend the call.• Automatic disconnection may occur if the call is not extended within 20 seconds of the notification.
