PROJECT NO. 1007889 OaklandConnect Last-Mile Broadband Project OaklandConnect – Fiber Network Construction & Implementation: The City of Oakland is implementing the OaklandConnect Middle Mile and Last Mile Fiber Network to expand reliable broadband connectivity to City-owned and operated Community Anchor Institutions (CAIs) and affordable multi-dwelling unit (MDU) sites, as well as interconnect to designated Point-of-Presence (PoP) locations and leased fiber connection vaults. The selected contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, permitting support, traffic control, testing, and documentation necessary for the complete installation of the OaklandConnect fiber infrastructure in accordance with City standards and project design documents.
