The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, anticipates issuing a competitive solicitation for medical courier services supporting the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky, its associated Community–Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), and other Government–designated locations. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, vehicles, equipment, supervision, and resources necessary to provide scheduled, supplemental, and on–demand courier services, including 24–hour, seven–day–per–week STAT/emergency services. Services include the pickup, transportation, and delivery of laboratory specimens, pharmaceuticals, medical records, medical supplies, interoffice mail, and other authorized Government materials. The Government anticipates awarding a single, firm–fixed–price requirements contract with a three–year ordering period. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and is anticipated to be set aside 100% for SBA–certified SDVOSBs. The solicitation, including the Performance Work Statement, pricing schedule, submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and award methodology, will be made available on SAM.gov upon issuance.
