EXTRA-74692 - USA (Henrico, Virginia) - Human Remains and Cremation Storage Service - Deadline September 1,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide human remains and cremation storage service to the government authority located in Henrico, VA. – Provide all labor, supervision, material, equipment, etc., as required, to successfully provide storage of human remains and cremation services. • Technical specifications:– Maintain adequate storage facilities and shall store bodies.– Bidder shall be responsible for the storage of human remains until notified by the agency of the final disposition.– Keep detailed and accurate records of each body delivered, stored, cremated or picked up by another funeral home. – Bidder shall be responsible for completing and filing the death certificate for each individual case and providing a copy to the agency within fourteen days from date of initial storage.– Provide cremation services after notification from the agency approval.• Invoicing requirements:– Invoice the agency at the end of each month.– The invoice must list the name of each deceased individual stored, the dates the body was in storage for the month, court approved cremation services provided during the month and any other pertinent information to expedite payment of invoice.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 24, 2026.
