Contracted Veterinary Services

Seminole County Animal Services is seeking a Veterinarian for Animal Shelter Relief Services. Located at 232 Eslinger Way, Sanford FL 32771. Services are to be performed in the absence of our staff Veterinarian, or at times when additional Veterinarian help is needed. It is anticipated that up to 260 hours of work will be available for relief work yearly. Examples of work to be performed: Medical Examinations Vaccinations Treatment Plans Spay/Neuter Surgeries Surgery Pre and Post-operative care. Euthanasia Exam Findings on select cases in statement form (Animal Cruelty Cases) Preference would be if a Veterinarian could come to the Animal Shelter to accomplish Multiple animals at the same time. Interested Veterinarian offices should provide a quote for the Shelter to bring Multiple animals over on one day for the services listed above. Service Days/Hours : If available to come to Animal Services Shelter, Veterinarian Services will be up to 8 hours daily when surgical procedures are to be done. Non-surgical days will be a minimum of 4 hours. The days services would be requested would be Monday- Saturday and up to four(4) times a year on Saturdays. Other Requirements: Must have and maintain a Florida Veterinary License to practice. Must have and maintain General Liability insurance at $500,000 each occurrence, $500,000 general aggregate. Must have and Maintain Professional Liability insurance at $100,000.
