WEAPONS-0184 - USA (Macomb, Michigan) - Gun Range Cleaning Service - Deadline October 26,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide gun range cleaning service to the government authority located in Macomb,MI.• Step 1 (Bullet Trap Inspection & Basic Clean)– This proposal is for the maintenance of the bullet trap and cleaning surfaces in the shooting range. The scope of work is as follows:• Set up a wash station and regulate the work area.• Visually inspect bullet trap components for wear/damage, compare with manufacturer's specifications, and inform the owner of any visual defects.• Replace and/or tighten any loose or missing nuts and bolts on the accessible exterior parts of the bullet trap.• Inspect the bullet for the proper level of granular rubber.• Removal and staging of rubber berm material from designated areas.• Mechanical/manual screening or sifting of the rubber media to separate accumulated lead, bullet fragments, trash and other foreign debris.• Collection and segregation of recovered lead and other range debris for appropriate handling and disposal/recycling in accordance with applicable regulations and facility requirements.• Return and placement of acceptable screened rubber back onto the berms.• Step 2 (Type II Recycle)– This proposal is for maintenance on the bullet trap and cleaning surfaces in the shooting range. The scope of work is as follows:• Set up a decontamination unit and regulate the work area. • City will provide necessary ventilation for this project.• The rubber from any spent projectiles are to be properly recycled or replaced if no longer serviceable.• Squeegee debris from the top of the gum rubber curtain if any curtains can be retained.• Properly package and label in UN–DOT approved containers all cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment as lead–contaminated hazardous waste created by this project for proper disposal by the winning vendor and not by the owner within 1 month of completion of project(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 25, 2026.
