Vendor needs to provide virtual web based live training sessions services on health and safety topics to the government authority located in Albany, NY. – Deliver up to ten virtual web based live trainings focused specifically on people with developmental disabilities and the unique impact of co–occurring behavioral health diagnoses, physical health conditions, and aging as these factors intersect with a person’s developmental disabilities. – Demonstrate a robust understanding of the needs of people with developmental disabilities, the appropriate clinical approach for supporting people with developmental disabilities, and apply that understanding directly to the development and delivery of the trainings.– The trainings are to include:• Signs and symptoms of behavioral health and physical health conditions that staff need to be aware of for people with developmental disabilities.• How to recognize, communicate, escalate and follow up on preventable risks for people with developmental disabilities and how to communicate with medical professionals.
