Matanzas High School (MHS) Addition and Renovations

The School Board of Flagler County is seeking a single, responsive and responsible bidder for the addition and renovations at Matanzas High School located at 3535 Pirate Nation Way, Palm Coast, Florida. The bidder shall be responsible for all applicable permitting, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to complete all work required by the specifications and as shown on the drawings. Construction will be on an occupied campus and work shall be phased as necessary to minimize interruptions of student and staff services. This project includes: Construction of a new two-story, 20,000 GSF classroom addition New pre-engineered metal building to support physical education programs Construction of a new central energy plant with ice storage 3,200 GSF renovation to existing building to provide additional dining capacity at the cafeteria New construction for the addition consists of face brick over 8” concrete masonry unit walls. Mechanical system includes air cooled chillers and underground chilled water site distribution with ice storage. The estimated construction budget is $14,400,000.
