Programmable Logic Controller and Input/Output Card Installation Project

The City of Benicia Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is accepting proposals to install various control system components within the WWTP from qualified electrical (C-10) contractors who are also Schneider Electric Alliance Partners (or equivalent), have experience with Quantum/Modicon/hot standby PLC and I/O systems, and have performed Quantum-to-Modicon systems migration. There are four electrical control room (ECR) centers with outdated programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and input/output communication cards that need to be replaced. The City is supplying all materials to accomplish this task. Due to operational constraints, sequencing is critical because only one ECR can be replaced at a time. Qualified respondents are required to participate in the scheduled site visit and develop a proposal detailing their method to accomplish the replacement of these components with the necessary sequencing.
