– Vendor needs to provide parks and open space plan service to the government authority located in Kent, WA. – Consultant will review and update the existing plan, complete a focused statistically valid survey, update GIS and nature score data, incorporate the six–year capital improvement program, and prepare the plan.– Consultant team with experience preparing municipal parks and open space plans, compliant planning documents, statistically valid surveys, GIS–based park system analysis, natural resource mapping, asset management, and capital implementation strategies.– This task should identify systemwide and park–specific patterns, distinguish lifecycle replacementneeds from new capital expansion, and show how replacement needs affect funding, operations, staffing, maintenance strategies, and project prioritization.– The methodology should incorporate current GIS data, natural resource conditions, habitat and landscape connectivity, sensitive ecological features, recreational use and access, and theequitable distribution of opportunities to experience nature.– Consultants should rely on existing plans, GIS data, survey data, capital project information, asset replacement data, and prior work products wherever practical.– The analysis should help demonstrate that long–term asset replacement is a major systemwide need requiring sustained attention beyond.
