Description
(1) Vendor needs to provide fire and smoke damper replacement service to the government authority located in Leonardtown, MD.• This Project is generally comprised of, but not limited to, the following:- Replacement of select smoke dampers throughout agency.- Removal of specified dampers along with the dedicated smoke detector.- Replacement with specified combination fire/smoke damper and associatedduct smoke detector.- Access above acoustical ceiling tiles and hard (drywall) ceilings are necessary,along with restoration to those ceilings.- All dampers shall be connected to existing power and fire alarm monitoringconnections.- Start Date anticipated Fall of 2026 during the heating season. SubstantialCompletion anticipated April of 2027 prior to cooling season.- Work cannot take place in occupied areas. Evenings, Saturdays and Winter Breakare available.- The project is Locally funded therefore Maryland Prevailing Wage or Davis–BaconWage scales do not apply.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 15, 2026.
