The Montgomery County Jail Detention and MEP Upgrade project scope of work contains, but is not limited to: Engineering: Replacement of AHU’s 2,4,5,7 & 8 & associated piping systems Environmental controls conversion from pneumatic to DDC & integration into the jail’s environmental controls system Electrical distribution upgrades Detention lighting replacements Water control system updates Low voltage security and communication systems updates Architectural: Reconfiguration of existing cells into functional medical exam rooms, mental health treatment rooms, and counseling rooms Installation of detention grade furnishings Modification of existing cell doors to integrate food ports Retrofitting stainless steel shower inserts & seamless coatings Installation of anti-jump netting on second floor balconies & stair sections Please refer to the project plans and specifications for specific & technical details about the scope of work for this project.
