HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIRCONDITIONING (HVAC) REPLACEMENTNORTH REGION

The Florida Department of Transportation (Department) advertised the above-referenced Invitation to Bid (ITB) on 07/27/2026, for Heating, Ventilation, and Airconditioning (HVAC) Replacement North Region. In accordance with the ITB (including Section 21 of the ITB Solicitation Document), the Department reserves the right to cancel this ITB at any time prior to the Department’s execution of the Contract, without incurring any cost obligations or liabilities. The Department hereby provides notice of its decision to make no award and to reject all Bids received for DOT-ITB-27-8008-MB, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement North Region, with the intent to resolicit. The basis for this decision includes but is not limited to the Department’s desire to clarify and update the procurement documents, including the scope of services, detailed scope of services and general project requirements, and the Bid Blank. Pursuant to Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, any person adversely affected by the agency decision or intended decision shall file with the agency a notice of protest in writing within 72 hours after the posting of the notice of decision or intended decision. Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes. The required notice of protest, bond, and formal written protest must each be timely filed with the Florida Department of Transportation, Clerk of Agency Proceedings, 605 Suwannee St, Mail Station 58, Tallahassee, FL 32399-0450.
