CONS-24650 - USA (Norwalk, Connecticut) - Transfer Station Building and Property Evaluation Service - Deadline November 3,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide transfer station building and property evaluation service to the government authority located in Norwalk, CT. – Conduct a conditions evaluation of Norwalk’s Transfer Station and identify long–term capital improvement needs including, but not limited to building structures, equipment, office, energy efficiency improvements, flood protection (Quantity and Quality), site lighting (for nighttime safety and security), Information Technology and resiliency improvements. Based on the results of the evaluation, a Ten (10) year, long–term capital improvements plan shall be developed.– Architectural: This shall consist of, but not be limited to evaluating the roofing system, the existing interior and exterior masonry, as necessary, repainting of interior spaces, floor refinishing, door and hardware for replacement as necessary, evaluation of exterior handrails and stair features with replacement, as necessary.– Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing /Fire Protection (M.E.P.):• Evaluating the Buildings HVAC system.• Evaluating the office atmospheric conditions and provide recommendations for odor control.• Evaluating piping, restroom, sink(s), floor drains, and fire alarm system.• Evaluating upgrades/improvements and sprinklers for replacement, as necessary.• Evaluating the electric hot water heater.– Site:• Evaluating the Storm drainage capacity and quality.• Evaluating the Transfer Station operation runoff quality and required containment and treatment.• Evaluating the Sanitary Sewer and Treatment needs.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 26, 2026.
