(1) Vendor needs to provide broker dealer financial services to the government authority located in Irvine, CA.• The primary objectives of investment activities, in order of priority, shall be:– Safety: Safety of principal is the prime objective of the investment program.– The investment program shall be designed and implemented to ensure preservation of capital in the overall portfolio.– Liquidity: The investment portfolio shall be structured in a manner which strives to time the maturity of securities with cash requirements. – Return on investment: The Authority shall attempt to obtain a reasonable return provided that the requirements of safety and liquidity are first met.• Active investment management. An investment strategy that involves the active trading of securities in an attempt to earn above–average returns on a portfolio.• Active investment management requires frequent monitoring of financial markets.• Arbitrage. Generally, transactions by which securities are bought and sold in different markets at the same time for the sake of the profit arising from a difference in prices in the two markets.• Broker. A broker brings buyers and sellers together for a commission paid by the initiator of the transaction or by both sides; he does not position or take ownership of the security.(2) The contract period will be for three years.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 1, 2026.
