(1) Vendor needs to provide pretrial and misdemeanor probation services to the government authority located in Viera, FL. – Provide monitoring, supervision, rehabilitation, pretrial, and probation services for offenders ordered by the agency.1. Pretrial programs:• The pretrial release program releases defendants who do not pose a risk to the community and who will, with some degree of certainty, return to court at the time and place ordered by the agency.• The pretrial community supervision program, as ordered by a judge, provides intensive monitoring and guidance of defendants awaiting trial, who do not meet the criteria of the agency’s pretrial release program, Release on Own Recognizance (ROR), or qualify for a signature bond.• Pretrial diversion program defers prosecution of qualified, first–time defendants, its purpose is to reduce recidivism of offenders within the agency.2. Misdemeanor probation program:• The Misdemeanor Probation program providing supervision to offenders sentenced to misdemeanor probation by the agency.• Community service – Selected adjudicated offenders are sentenced within the criminal justice system to do community service work as an alternative to more costly legal sanctions.• Cooperate with all treatment agencies, schools, and other programs to which offenders are referred.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 8, 2026.
