– Vendor needs to provide System Advisor Model (SAM) development software. – Provide architecture and debugging support, software development, maintenance, and enhancement support for System Advisor Model (SAM) platform. – Develops and maintains SAM, an open–source software platform used by researchers, industry, utilities, and government organizations to evaluate the technical and economic performance of renewable energy technologies.– SAM supports a wide range of energy technologies, including solar, wind, and geothermal systems, and provides performance, financial, and incentive modeling capabilities.– Includes software architecture improvements, implementation of new modelling capabilities, user interface enhancements, cross–platform software support, and troubleshooting of issues identified by users and development staff.
