Description
The Erickson Avenue Waterline Replacement (2nd Street to 5th Street) will replace an existing 1940s-era 8-inch cast iron water main with approximately 1,060 linear feet of new ductile iron water main, consisting of 1,020 feet of 12-inch pipe and 40 feet of 8-inch pipe. The work includes two connections to the existing system (one each at the north and south project limits), one fire hydrant assembly, two water services, and associated valves, fittings, and appurtenances. Work will occur within the roadway in a residential area adjacent to Beaverton High School. The high school is currently undergoing renovations, and the Contractor should anticipate coordination with the school site contractor to maintain access to the school and adjacent areas throughout construction.
