Procurement Details: The DeKalb County Police Bomb Squad utilizes a fleet of robots to achieve mission-oriented goals while staying remote. The robots are used on Bomb calls for, disrupting suspicious packages or suspected IEDs, opening suspicious packages, and accessing various locations remotely that would endanger the life of a Bomb Technician. On SWAT callouts, robots are used for reconnaissance, opening doors and deploying chemical agents. This request is for the purchase of replacement tracks and batteries. Vendor: REMOTEC, Inc.
