Vendor needs to provide qualified hotel project legislation consultant services to assist the Town with drafting and advocacy support for Qualified Hotel Project (“QHP”) legislation to the government authority located in Addison, TX.• Assist with updating draft bill language;• Assist with identifying and securing bill authors and working with their legislative staff;• Assist in scheduling appointments and communications with relevant legislators, legislative staff, or state agencies on the bill;• Monitor committee and floor action for the town’s bill or for items that may affect the Town’s bill;• Advise the Town of upcoming meetings, hearings, briefings, and other formal or informal sessions in a timely manner to allow the Town an opportunity to participate in advocacy efforts;
