– Vendor needs to provide forklift operator safety training and certification service to the government authority located in California. – Provide employees will be trained on construction equipment with forklift attachments such as a backhoe, skid–steer loader, and full–size loaders.– Operating instructions, warnings, and precautions for the type of forklift the operator will be authorized to operate.– Truck controls and instrumentation: where they are located, what they do, and how they work.– Engine or motor operation.– Visibility (including restrictions due to loading).– Fork and attachment adaptation, operation, and use limitations. – Training shall be a combination of classroom time that will consist of lecture, discussion, video tape (no longer than 30 minutes), written material and hands–on practical training including an examination.– Maintain employee certification records and be able to provide public works copies upon request.
