(1) Vendor needs to provide special education transportation services to the government authority located in West Haven, CT.• Daily transportation between students’ residences and educational programs.• Compliance with all student–specific transportation requirements contained in individualized education programs.• Safe loading and unloading of students.• Transportation by qualified drivers experienced in special education transportation.• Immediate notification to the district regarding delays, accidents, emergencies, or behavioral incidents.• Daily communication with parents and guardians and district personnel when required.• Flexibility to modify schedules or routes as directed by the district.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
