EXTRA-73980 - USA (Chesterfield, Virginia) - Arc Flash Studies and Breaker Testing Services - Deadline August 27,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide arc flash studies and breaker testing services to the government authority located in Chesterfield, VA.– Services are to include conducting and furnishing short circuit studies, electrical equipmentprotective device evaluation studies, interrupt rating analyses, time current protectivedevice coordination studies and arc flash hazard analyses.– Provide electrical engineering design for replacement of electrical components as required to meet county safety requirements as recommended in the coordination and arc flash hazard analysis studies.– Study begin at the utility primary source of connection and end at all three–phase panelboards, switchboards, fused switches, motor starters and serviceable enclosures and equipment containing exposed live electrical parts.– Interrupt rating analysis.– Time current protective device coordination study.– Calculation methods and assumptions.– Source impedance data, including electric utility system and motor fault contribution characteristics.– Branch circuit and distribution paperboards.– Switchgear, motor control centers and panelboard bus bars should be evaluated to withstand short–circuit stresses.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than August 14, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
