(1) Vendor needs to provide juvenile justice programs services to the government authority located in Newark, NJ. – Provide community–based juvenile justice services to at–risk and court–involved youth in agency. – Deliver effective, evidence–informed, community–based services designed to prevent juvenile delinquency, divert youth from formal juvenile justice involvement, provide alternatives to secure detention, and address rehabilitative needs following adjudication.• Delinquency prevention: Delinquency Prevention Programs are strategies and services designed to reduce risk factors associated with delinquent behavior and prevent youth from entering or becoming further involved in the juvenile justice system.• Diversion: – Provide eligible youth who have committed or are alleged to have committed lower–level offenses with an opportunity to address their behavior through structured interventions and accountability measures in lieu of, or prior to, formal juvenile justice processing, as permitted by law and the referring authority.• Detention alternatives:– Provide community–based supervision and services to juveniles who would otherwise be considered for placement in a secure detention facility while awaiting final disposition of their cases.• Dispositional options:– Dispositional Options programs serve juveniles who have been adjudicated delinquent and are ordered by the court to comply with probationary conditions, sanctions, services, or other court directed requirements.
