(1) Vendor needs to provide communication and public information officer services will work with the city manager to create a communication plan for projects, provide written communication (as opposed to face–to–face or on–air communication) to the media and the public, and advise the city manager in the case of unexpected situations. – Assist in identifying primary target audiences, key community leaders, organizations, government, business, and the media in areas served by the city– Serve as the lead media contact. Serve as liaison between media and the city– Arrange and coordinate media interviews, – Work with the city to develop over–all communications strategy and messages, followed by the preparation of outreach materials, such as media press releases, brochures, information kits, fact sheets, websites, electronic newsletter articles, exhibit displays, flyers, direct mail, paid and free advertorial media kits, videos and newsletters in languages fitting for the service area– Assignment shall also include the development and execution of Social Media strategies, which may include making recommendations to the City in response to any trending social media activity– Assist in all phases of project development and implementation that may include preparing for and conducting public meetings and press conferences– Prepare a communication crisis management plan. Coordinate and conduct check–ins with agencies, departments and City communications officers to ensure a unified and informed approach to City public relations in the case of an emergency, and manage emergency press briefings and spokesperson duties.(2) All question must be submitted no later than September 16, 2026.
