(1) Vendor needs to provide progressive employment service to the government authority located in Burlington, VT. – Provide progressive employment for blind and visually impaired.– Progressive Employment:• Progressive employment is an approach used to introduce candidates to potential employers.• Progressive employment is particularly useful for individuals who are blind or visually impaired, individuals who may have little or no work history, corrections involvement, limited education and skills, or other barriers that often lead to being screened out of employment opportunities.• Informational or mock interviews.– Employment Consultant Services:• Employment consultants provide a range of employment services.• Resume development.• Interview preparation.• Facilitation of progressive employment activities with area businesses.• Identify businesses that align with the candidates’ skills and interests and help place them into competitive, integrated employment within those businesses.– Competitive, Integrated Employment:• Performed in a setting where the individual has interactions with other workers who are not individuals with disabilities, where the wage is comparable to other workers in that occupational category.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 20, 2026.
