MEDI-8011 - USA (Mississippi) - Enhancement and Expansion of Based Medication for Opioid Use Disorder and Overdose Education and Naloxone Distribution Programs with Outcomes Analysis Service - Deadline August 28,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide enhancement and expansion of based medication for opioid use disorder and overdose education and naloxone distribution programs with outcomes analysis service to the government authority located in Mississippi. – To assess program implementation, effectiveness, and opportunities for continuous quality improvement.• Strengthen initiation of agency within the emergency department and facilitate continuity of treatment; • Improve screening and identification of individuals with substance use disorder, including opioid use disorder and stimulant use disorder • Strengthen referral, navigation, and warm–handoff processes to specialty psychiatry and other appropriate treatment, recovery, behavioral health, and supportive services; • Expand overdose education and naloxone distribution among individuals at increased risk of experiencing or witnessing an overdose; • Improve post–discharge follow–up and continuity of care; • Strengthen clinical workflows and coordination among emergency department, behavioral health, treatment, and other appropriate partners; and • Collect, analyze, and report program and outcome data to assess effectiveness, support continuous quality improvement (CQI), and demonstrate progress toward applicable agency objectives and performance measures. – Activities shall support evidence–based and evidence–informed approaches to strengthen early identification of substance use disorder (SUD), initiation of and linkage to treatment, harm reduction, overdose prevention, patient navigation, continuity of care, and evaluation of outcomes for individuals at risk for or experiencing SUD, including opioid use disorder and stimulant use disorder.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than August 21, 2026.
