Vendor needs to provide engineering structural assessment and design service to the government authority located in Fort Meade, MD. – Conduct a comprehensive structural evaluation and subsequent design of a partial replacement and/or repair of the elevated sundeck at the agency.– Analyze the existing steel substructure for material defects, corrosion, and structural deficiencies.– Engineer of Record (EoR) must develop a certified load rating for the current structure.– Utilize these diagnostic findings to develop a complete, permit–ready design package for an eventual comprehensive replacement of the sundeck and its supporting steel substructure.
