(1) Vendor needs to provide classification and compensation study services to the government authority located in Greenwich, CT.– Review and evaluate all classifications within scope.– Translate the Town’s compensation principles into operational compensation parameters.– Assess internal equity, compression, and salary inversion.– Conduct a market survey of salary and total compensation, including benefits.– Recommend an updated grade structure and salary ranges.– Recommend the placement of existing employees within the recommended ranges.– Model the cost of implementation under alternative phase–in scenarios.– Deliver tools and documentation enabling Town staff to maintain the plan without recurring consultant engagement.– Job Description ReviewIn consultation with the Human Resources Department, review each job description for essential duties, education and experience requirements, certification requirements, supervisory responsibilities, decision–making authority, budget responsibility, and working conditions. Recommend revisions where appropriate.– Employee and Department Head InterviewsConduct interviews with department heads, supervisors, and Human Resources staff sufficient to understand job content and organizational structure.– Organizational ReviewReview current salary schedules and grade structure, job descriptions, benefit summaries, compensation policies and practices, organizational charts, and collective bargaining agreements (for comparative purposes only
