(1) Vendor needs to provide armed security guard services to the government authority located in Key West, FL.– Provide a qualified, properly licensed, trained, and armed security officer to provide security coverage at the facility’s main entrance and conduct scheduled security patrols of the facility perimeter.• Maintain a visible security presence at the main entrance.• Monitor vehicles and individuals entering and existing the facility.• Prevent unauthorized persons from entering restricted areas.• Verify authorization for visitors, contractors, vendors, and other non–Authority personnel.• Monitor the facility entrance and perimeter for suspicious activity.• Contact Authority personnel when access authorization cannot be verified.• Ensure that gates and designated access points are secured as required by the facility procedures.• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees, contractors, visitors, and members of the public.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
