Description
The City of Tucson, (COT), is conducting a competitive one-step process to retain up to three Contractors for a Job Order Contract (JOC) to replace, repair, or renew Tucson Water’s most critical water transmission mains consisting of PCCP and CCP pipelines. Services will be used on an emergency or as needed basis. Contractor(s) will perform all excavations, install post-tensioning strands (cables), carbon fiber renewal, concrete or shotcrete cradle, shotcrete coating, vault installation, pipeline tapping, backfill, and any corrosion testing and mitigation. Individual job orders should not exceed three million ($3,000,000). The estimated budget for the first year is ten million dollars ($10,000,000.00). The term of this contract will be one year with two (2) two-year renewal options. However, services will be requested on an as-needed, if-needed basis and the retractor contract is neither exclusive nor a commitment by COT that the Contractor's services will be required.
