INSU-6661 - USA (Joplin, Missouri) - Insurance Consulting Services - Deadline November 10,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide insurance consulting services to the government authority located in Joplin, MO.– Advise and assist in reviewing the City Employee Health Plan, Vision Plan, Dental Plan, Life and Disability Insurance Plan on a continuing basis, to ensure that the programs are in compliance with federal requirements and to assess the level of benefits with respect to other plans and employee benefit trends; recommend alternative benefit designs or delivery systems as indicated by emerging program costs or benefit practices, while ensuring a good benefits package for city employees. – Advise and assist the City with writing plan modifications or plan design changes, if needed.– Conduct a 5–year insurance bid for all lines of service in 2030 with an effective date of January 1, 2031.– Advise and assist in negotiating and reviewing contracts, plan documents, and other documents for applicability, accuracy, and consistency; prepare and deliver necessary reports to the City and advise the City in provider contract negotiations and renewals.– Develop an annual budget for the City Insurance Plans, projecting medical inflation, utilization and claims experience and recommending the funding and premiums necessary to maintain the City’s health plans in a fiscally responsible manner.– Gather, organize, and analyze health claim trend data and provide a summary to the City.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than October 26, 2026.
