ITQ#2025-214 Shopping Cart Retrieval & Disposal (within City limits)

The City of Homestead is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide shopping cart retrieval and disposal services within city limits and rights-of-way. The selected contractor will be responsible for performing weekly retrieval and disposal services in compliance with Chapter 17, Section 17-26 (f) of the City of Homestead Code of Ordinances. The City's intent is to award a contract for a one-year term with the option of two 1-year extensions. The scope of work includes responding to reports of abandoned shopping carts found on city-owned properties, rights-of-way, and other locations as authorized by the City. The contractor must ensure the prompt and proper retrieval and return of the carts in accordance with city regulations and guidelines.
