FIRE-1772 - USA (DeLand, Florida) - Jail Air Handler-Fire Suppression System Removal, Replacement and Upgrade Services - Deadline August 20,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide jail air handler–fire suppression system removal, replacement and upgrade services to the government authority located in DeLand, FL.• Remove all existing fire/smoke dampers in rated fire partitions (1–hour and 2–hour rated), rated shaft walls, and floor/slab penetrations,• Disconnect and properly handle all control wiring at relay panels per area–specific coded notes on construction drawings,• Install new 1–1/2 hour rated fire/smoke dampers to match existing duct sizes,• All new dampers shall be constructed of stainless steel or aluminum with urethane bushings to provide corrosion resistance and long–term durability in the correctional facility environment,• New dampers shall be 24VAC motorized units for smoke dampers connected through shaft enclosures and slab penetrations,• New fire dampers with 165°F fusible links shall be provided for wall–mounted and partition locations,• Reconnect or replace all control wiring from damper relay panels to new damper actuators; reuse existing wiring where it is undamaged and free from electrical deficiencies,• Reinstall existing wall–mounted air grilles at applicable damper locations.(2) All question must be submitted no later than August 6, 2026.
