(1) Vendor needs to provide residential weatherization and energy efficiency services to the government authority located in Washington, DC.• Provide residential weatherization and energy efficiency services to enhance the health and safety of residents in low–income households through agency Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP).• The goal of this procurement is to identify a qualified contractor capable of performing energy efficiency upgrades and delivering comprehensive weatherization improvements focusing on building envelopes for approximately 78 low–income residential properties across.• Common services may include insulation and air sealing and ductwork; installation of energy saving lighting and ventilation, repair or replace heating and mechanical systems installation of windows, doors, repair of roof leaks or roof replacement, health and safety improvements, installation of energy star appliances and other specific energy–saving measures based on an energy audit and diagnostic testing to identify cost effective solutions as outlined in WAP program– Condensate drainage and neutralization where required;– Refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging (where applicable);– Duct transition and reconnection necessary for airflow compliance;– Duct cleaning associated with system replacement;– Startup, commissioning, and combustion analysis testing;– Cleanup of work area;(2) The contract period will be for one year.
