STAFF-17113 - USA (Pasadena, California) - Contracted Hearing Officer Service - Deadline December 7,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide contracted hearing officer service to the government authority located in Pasadena, CA. – Hearing officers to support the Rent Stabilization Department Senior Hearing Officer by:• Coordinating hearing scheduling with agency staff;• Reviewing case documentation;• Conducting settlement conferences, pre–hearing conferences, hearings, hearing testimony and evidence from parties regarding a petition;• Preparing written determination making a decision, which sets for the legal and evidentiary basis for the decision, in addition to conducting legal research as appropriate; and• Performing all other work necessary for the effective handling of the administrative hearings under Article XVIII and related regulations.– The Provider shall be reasonably available to conduct appeals during regular business hours of Monday through Friday, from approximately 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.– The Provider will not be reimbursed for travel costs and is responsible for using their own computer equipment and supplies to write the written statements of decisions.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 16, 2026.
