(1) Vendor needs to provide planning services to the government authority located in Cortez, CO.• Planning support to supplement internal staff resources and assist with development review, planning commission support, and related planning services.• Include assistance with current planning functions, preparation of staff reports, public meeting support, zoning and land use code updates, development review, economic development initiatives, and long–range planning efforts.• Review development applications for compliance with the city’s land use code, zoning regulations, and adopted plans.• Evaluate rezoning requests, conditional use permits, variances, subdivisions, site plans, annexations, and other land use applications.• Prepare written planning analyses, findings, recommendations, and staff reports.• Provide technical planning guidance to City staff and applicants.• Assist with interpretation and application of development regulations.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than November 5, 2026.
