ESTATE-11803 - USA (Macomb, Michigan) - Easement Acquisition Services - Deadline August 3,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide easement acquisition services to the government authority located in Macomb, MI.• Coordinating acquisition process with the township legal counsel to ensure compliance with township requirements.• Coordinating with the township and its engineering consultant regarding changes to easement areas.• Preparing a cost estimate for the services needed for that particular project as well as a projected timeline for acquisition.• Researching and obtaining records of property ownership, mortgage interests, or encumbrances through public databases, requests to property owners, or other means, and performing preliminary review of same to determine required signatories.• Meeting with property owners to discuss the proposed improvements or needed easements as they affect the property and to discuss any concerns.• Determine value of easement and provide backup documentation supporting value determination. • Discussing and meeting with the township any negotiations and property owner concerns.• Negotiating, securing, and notarizing property owner signatures.• Meeting biweekly (at a minimum), with the township to review the progress of the project and expedite any necessary actions.• Obtaining necessary consents from, i.e., mortgage or interest holders.(2) All question must be submitted no later than July 28, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
