Description
The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) seeks a qualified vendor to enhance and expand an existing Emergency Department–based Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (ED-MOUD) program within a Mississippi academic medical center. The selected vendor will strengthen ED initiation of MOUD, ensure linkage to specialty psychiatry for continued treatment, and expand an existing ED-based overdose education and naloxone distribution (OEND) program. The vendor will also include an outcomes-focused analysis component to assess patient engagement, overdose trends, naloxone utilization, and the overall effectiveness of program activities in support of OD2A-S goals. Activities will align with CDC guidance, OD2A-S requirements, and MSDH reporting expectations.
