Description
The City of Tampa (CITY) is seeking bids from qualified firms for the purchase and delivery of Sodium Chloride (solid). This statement of work includes specifications, specific delivery requirements, chemical ordering and internal receiving processes that shall be adhered to throughout the term of the contract. The City estimates the annual consumption of Sodium Chloride for the David L Tippin WTP at approximately 2,650 tons per year, with bulk deliveries expected to be taken to the plant 2-3 times per week or as requested by the City. The Sodium Chloride shall be off-loaded by the Awardee into the City 90- ton brine production and storage tanks.
