(1) Vendor needs to provide mental health support services to the government authority located in Honolulu, HI.• Provide mental health support services for homeless children are defined as any person up to twenty–one (21) years of age, who lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate night–time residence. • These include those who live in motels, hotels, beaches or camping grounds due to the lack of alternative adequate accommodations, are in other temporary living situations, or are sharing the housing of others.• Childhood Worries.a. Seventy–four percent (74%) of children experiencing homelessness worry they will have no place to live.b. Fifty–eight percent (58%) worry they will have no place to sleep.c. Eight–seven percent (87%) worry that something bad will happen to their Family.• Homelessness affects cognitive and emotional development.a. Babies show significantly slower development than other children.b. More than twenty percent (20%) of children between the ages of three (3) and six (6) have emotional problems serious enough to require professional care.c. By the time children are eight (8) years old, one (1) in three (3) have a major mental disorder.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) Time (HST) Orientation Session September 3, 2026.(4) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 14, 2026.
