(1) Vendor needs to provide ambulance billing services.– Provide a full range of services generally associated with Ambulance Billing Services for billing and collection of pre–hospital emergency care and transport–based EMS services.– Electronic claims:– Proposer shall have a current medicare sender number and medicaid provider number.– Proposer shall be capable of filing paper claims for medicare and medicaid requests.– Successful proposer will be required to collect the patient’s signature in cases where the agency EMS was unable to obtain the patient’s signature during transport.– Invoicing:– Successful proposer must file customer insurance claims within five (5) working days from receipt of transport information from the agency EMS responses.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 21, 2026.
