(1) Vendor needs to provide workers compensation litigation consultant services to the government authority located in New Jersey. a. Assist in the evaluation and hiring of claims defense attorneys for Workers’ Compensation claims. Conduct regular meetings with defense firms to ensure compliance with Litigation Guidelines and uniform application of policy positions.b. Conduct periodic reviews of defense firms’ files for Workers’ Compensation claims, with particular attention to briefs submitted on behalf of the agency.c. Provide the Claims Administrator with legal guidance where necessary, particularly in new and evolving areas of the law. This would include issuing periodic bulletins on emerging legal, regulatory or case law matters.d. Attend all Fund Commissioner meetings as scheduled.
